At The Crispy Cod, we are passionate about supporting our local community that has done so much for us. We are proud to support local youth rugby teams and charities so that we can create a better community for us all to live in.
For children in need we organised a day full of fundraising activities. Our staff dressed has their faces painted and dressed up as Pudsey to support children in need.

We also support Rhondda Schools rugby and have managed to raise of £100,000 for the team over the past four years. The schools rugby gives every child the chance to play to rugby no matter what their background. It is a great cause to be a part of and we are excited to support Rhondda Schools Rugby for years to come.
We are proud to work alongside many Youth Sport Projects to help them find funding and achieve their goals. It is extremely important for children to be active and we feel proud to be a part of these great initiatives.
Mathew was interviewed on BBC Radio Wales about the National Fish & Chip awards 2019 being held in London. He talked about his career and how the community around him helped to create Wales' No. 1 Fish & Chip shop.
At The Crispy Cod, we are committed to creating a better place for future generations. We worked in partnership with Treorchy Primary school to organise a beach clean up at Rest Bay in Porthcawl.

Working again with Treorchy Primary School, we asked the children to create bag designs inspired by the environment. We had some fantastic entries and the winner would win a Fit Bit.
